Hate to say it but I believe this would have the complete opposite effect. With the lack of new content all people have to do is make money, buy stuff, and have other toons rushed through the game. The economy would crash and a large percentage of the players would quit on the spot.

Wouldn't slowing down the rate at which people accrue money increase the length of time with which they stay with the game, if that's all they have to do?

dead thread is dead. we all realise by now anet have no interest in balancing pve at this stage in the game, in fact they seem to be doing quite the contrary.

Cry of pain nerf, RoJ fixed, and they buffed paragons/ritualists. They're also getting worried about the speed clears. I think it's quite clear that ANet do have an interest in balancing PvE.

Well, 'PvE' baalance is not 'real' balance. It's just removing extremes. The RoJ AI bug and the old Cry of Pain were extremes, and so they got removed.

In PvP, things should work 'just fine', in PvE they should work 'quite fine', but not 'REALLY fine'.

I could see having only on Consumable active at a time, like scrolls. The rest is just too much.

Let's not forget that every single mission SHOULD be able to be mastered by EVERY single profession. Once they balance all that for PvE, THEN worry about Cons hate.

Bring in 4-5 overpowered builds into the game (some ritu love and paragon, some good mesmer stuff). By doing this you give casual players more way to complete endgame areas without resorting to SF/ROJ/COP groups therefore increasing less than wanted profession presence into PUGS. After that you can nerf SF therefore producing a gradual and not painful shift while maintaining the casual gamers fanbase. PROFIT.

However without sabway there are many a thing people couldn't do in NM let alone HM, eg Slaver's Exile.
If you can't do slavers in HM without sab/discord then you are bad. Granted, Duncan may require another player, but it's not impossible with 2 heroes and 6 heroes.

People need to learn the meaning of 'work'.

Almost all the time they do absolutely nothing. I've double cast it at tightly packed mobs (eg Tain the Corrupter outside Chantry) and not a single 1 of them moved.

Tbh i really don't think RoJ was done properly.

I was doing Vizunah HM today and the Local hench monks stood in RoJ for it's whole duration.
There still might be some juice in that old killing machine!

See alot of cheering about the buffing of Paragons and Rits, which is good, but they had to be buffed because they were nerfed into exile.

After the nerf, SC is slightly slower. Big deal. Until Shadow Form gets nerfed, problem isn't solved. Revived thread is revived until they get nerfed.

Anet kind of hinted with the last update that they weren't too worried about SF at this point, which kind of sucks IMO. Godmode should not exist in GW.

They aren't worried about it from a solo farm pov. I'm assuming they're getting tired of speed clears, and honestly, the only way speed clears are going to be killed is by nerfing shadow form. I think it's going to get a nerf, but you never know with ANet.

Keep buffing everything until this type of thread disappear, thanks. I don't want to separate myself from 90% of the player base and forced to play with bots or guildies all the time just because 1% of people's opinions.

Yes , are they... so why are they doing that.
Is it called balancing or should it be calld kill the game even more.

To my opinion!! Anet is "balancing", nerving, skill for much to often.
People are making builds, large groups are following those that make the builds.
They find a way to clear area's Ok some are really overpowerd.
But still. People playd the game. Indeed there should be some power buffs
for some skills as they have done for the Rit now.
but kill other classes to nerf skills isn't really a balance. but is just a way
to put a other class more in favorite.

Skill balance in PvP.. ok that is something which I can understand.
yet even in PvP they make it them selve more difficult than necessary.
They just keep on balancing in a way that they eventually wil be back
at the skill which they came up with at the start of GW.

PvE.. bummer... they are just taking fun away from players each and every time.

mentioned before. Bringing fun back in PvE and for shure make more peeps playing again will mean.

Stop killing nerving PvE skills.
Increase drop rate of common drops.
Make more divers drops. (consumables as normal drops)
Get rit of Normal mode and Hardmode. (hardmode is as it should be, so it should be the only way.)

Ok I can make a whole list... but that should be came to much out of topic than.

Just wanted to say.. Anet.. you are much to busy with nonsense skill nerving,changing.. (Rit change is ok as acception) instead it would bet better
to put some effort in making some extra content ore increase variety of drops
and rate.

Don't nerf Shadow Form.

Just revert Chillblains to a PBAoE. Give lots of necro and mesmer monsters Chillblains and Signet of Disenchantment.

Laugh at Shadow Form.
